Why has every bearable rock/metal night in Stafford gone to hell? The Surgery is now just an expensive trendy bar, the Firkin has died a stinky death, Uni bar is a trend sucker.

Where, oh where, do I go to sate my hunger for thick ale and heavy metal?

Oh! No you're not! I'm completely with you. My main problem when I come back to Stafford is that there is never anywhere I want to go to in the evening if I want to listen to music. It's such a pain.

i aint no fan of guitar based thrashing, but apparently the uni venue/bar gets 500 regulars up at their rock/alt/metal night. its open to the general public n all so get up there and do some headbangin'
