A nice picture, but it's the Coast Guard creating a large helicopter landing zone in the Phoenix Park in Dublin, to facilitate the transfer of people injured in the Donegal explosion to the nearby hospital across the river.

"Yesterday, Gardaí from the Bridewell arrested a man in Dublin 7 for being in control of a horse drawn vehicle while under the influence of an intoxicant. He was charged under S6 (1) of Road Traffic Act, and has now appeared before the courts."

Back in the sixties someone I knew was done for being drunk in charge of a horse. He was fined the maximum of 5/- (25p). The greater punishment was that he broke his jaw when he fell off the horse in the pub car park.
