Just been to my local Phones 4 U to have a look at new phones.

Ended up having a play with the new Sony Ericsson Xperia Play, Xperia Arc and LG Optimus 2X (first dual core phone)...

All fantastic phones.

I'm not a gamer on phones but those who are will love the Play. Games seemed very smooth on it and considering what it is, it wasn't huge by any means.

I have been waiting for the O2X to come out for eternity... worlds first dual core phone and it is lovely and slim with the flat glass frontage. Very nice and powerful phone. I should have been blown away by this but wasn't because it was overshadowed by:

The SE Xperia Arc is B-E-A-U-T-I-F-U-L. So slim it is incredible... and the screen is a thing of beauty too... could easily watch full movies on that and never get bored. Such a shame its only 1GHz processor and so i'm undecided because this might seem really slow in a years time...

Are these all android phones? Refused to own a SE previously because I hated their interface, that would be irrelevant with android. I sure as chuff aint going for another Moto, my contract runs out in July so I shall be watching what is on its way with interest.

Yes all Android.

Both the SE and the LG were adapted versions of Android, but nothing a few custom roms shouldn't sort out.
