Any residential area referred to as 'The Village' must be lovely, like Penkridge.A family member lives in 'The Village' in Weeping Cross and it's lovely up there.
Some used to live opposite me, rough as, but lovely people...Oh blooming heck, I went to primary school with quite a few...
The Village part of Walton is rather nice.Any residential area referred to as 'The Village' must be lovely, like Penkridge.
Yes, it's probably nicer than the Stone Walton except that it has neither a chip shop nor a pub.
Some of us quite like the Stone Walton. My Nan used live round that area. People were friendly, not looking to buy a house just for the school their child went to.Yes, it's probably nicer than the Stone Walton except that it has neither a chip shop nor a pub.
We have some friends who live in Walton village. They moved there because they liked the house and it's gardens. Their kids do not attend Walton High. Some of us quite like the Stone Walton. Yes, I was thinking of it not being on the edge of Cannock Chase and should have properly considered the people living there. Some of us quite like the Stone Walton.
Stafford is surrounded by some lovely villages just a short journey from the town itself. I’m quite fond of Weston and Salt but ultimately it’s what you feel comfortable with and what you wish to have handy/ travel for. If you go for somewhere around rickerscote lane you can have the best of both worldsWe are looking at staying out of town centre and aiming more at surrounding areas.
Weston's better with having two pubs for if one's closed as it currently is in Salt.I’m quite fond of Weston and Salt
From what I've seen The Hollybush is well on it's way to former glory- certainly hope so, a lovely summer pubWeston's better with having two pubs for if one's closed as it currently is in Salt.
There might also be other factors to consider.
