Moving companies that will move ~200 miles?

Need to move all my possessions (maybe 20 average sized boxes?) to Brighton next week, it's 200 miles each way. I need:

1. a proper company that has insurance and can guarantee they'll take care of my posessions
2. a company that will pack and ensure the safe transport of a 1.65m piece of glass (my desk)

potentially relevant point: currently located on the 4th floor of a building without lifts, destination building is 1st floor also with no lift.

price isn't an issue, I'm willing to pay for quality service.

Hm, requested a quote from both goodwins and pickfords and they want £1,000 or £1,250 respectively. When I said I was willing to pay extra for quality service I wasn't thinking /that/ extra, looks like I may have to rent a van and have someone drive it for me, heh. I assumed ~£500 would be a reasonable price to pay.
