Couldn't find a dedicated thread for the cafe at the end of Gaolgate street - went in for breakfast, pretty decent for the price (and probably the best eggs royal I've seen) - really friendly and good selection of things for lunches - will return.

Even if it has got a slightly off putting name

I've had breakfast a few times and it's good and the omelettes for a light lunch are lovely.

Down side is with the Bellend over the road closing that you won't be able to connect to the Spoons free WiFi from the cafe anymore

Needed somewhere quick to eat today so popped in for the first time - fit the bill, quick, relatively cheap, and cheerful. And surprisingly busy!
