End of the world on the 24th ???

(Hastily starts calculation on how much beer can be drunk in 2 days .... :eek::eek::pint::P)
I've just drunk my 2 days worth. Need to restock for tomorrow night's final binge... ( and might as well get another garage load full incase they got the date wrong.... )

Enjoying a drop of red.
So the bike arrived back from France this morning.

As the sun was shining I thought I'd have a little run out to give it an airing before give it a wash and brush up. I got as far as the mini roundabout at Milford when I dropped it. No excuses, no other vehicles about, just lost it at about 2mph.

There's no way I could lift it back up by myself but luckily, a chap eating his breakfast at Wimpy ran over and we got it upright again. Thank you Craig, very much, if you're reading this.

Got it home and everything seems ok apart from a couple of small scratches on some plastic side protection which are now touched in and invisible, so I'll call that a massive escape.

Currently searching the internet for stabilisers...

Been there, done that, more dented pride than bike. Glad to hear it wasn't too bad.

That's a strange bit of wording. I first read that as '40 found dead in Staffordshire Travelodge.'

I thought, what's its name ? ... The Bates Motel ?? :urgh::eek:

Husband had the same old bike gear for years, the week he got brand new kit he came off! (nothing serious!)

Blessings in disguise really but he still huffs every time he pulls the (slightly) scuffed trousers on!
