Got my nails done , first time in 7 years....being told to 'relax' about 7 times was not relaxing....no idea why I find hair & nails so stressful.

I could be doing so much more in that time that I need to sit still.

I've never had my nails done , but find hair & waxing visits so stressful.
Especially , whilst having my eyebrows threaded for the first time in one of those middle of arcade set-ups the other week, I decided to go for it and have my eyelashes tinted as well.
Felt a right idiot sitting with my eyes closed for 15 minutes , with shoppers walking past. My leg kept shaking as I sat there clutching my handbag trying to count 15 x 60 seconds until it was over.

Photo(s) would be nice Mrs!
I would love nice nails. Yes, I could stop biting them, it's a habit I've had well over 55 years now though. It's a shame we aren't allowed them on the ward, but Inection control would have multiple hearts attacks if we all did.

I couldn't cope with long nails.
Keep mine short , and bung varnish on myself just for special nights out. But too impatient to let it dry for long enough, so it's rarely smudge free.

Can you let us know the dates you’ll be here & what route you’ll be travelling etc? I think I’d rather have a few days out of the area 😉
Here's your warning..... for one night only....StaffordJas is about to return to her roots ! :D

Maybe should have warned Worcester Warriors of my reputation when we bought a house very near to the stadium! They've gone into administration! :( (One of our Blair Witch project type walks is through the woods by the ground )

It's tiddling it down right now. Please don't come anywhere near the Doxey Road. I don't want the house to be flooded!
If you see a little red car sailing past your door , I'm lost 😂 (Actually haven't been in the Doxey Road area for years, so with all the new road layouts I've heard about I probably would be lost ) .
I was just thinking to myself should I pack brollies just in case (but then a pain in the @rse once we get to the pub). Nice and dry & sunny here while I was washing the car , but just this minute started bucketing it down here now as well.
Hoping it dries up later, I hate driving in the rain, especially with hubby in the car. He somehow gets it all steamed up , while it's ok with just me in!

Any particular pubs or restaurants we should be avoiding for our own safety?

Or is it safer just to stay indoors and take cover for the night?
Don't really know what's happening, who's going , whether we are dining, nibbling, or what (I've made myself a picnic just in case 😂 ).
Hubby's hopeless at finding things out. I messaged his work colleague last night to find what time and about dress code and managed to squeeze into my black bottoms , instead of Jeans as hubby suggested  .

I'm going to be hiding in the understairs cupboard with a packet of Hobnobs and a case of red until it's safe to come out.
I thought everywhere was quiet...everyone else must have taken cover as well!😂

Got back after a walk out to find loads more of our party , from all over the UK ,checking in here & several other town hotels. Bigger event than I thought....

Meeting up with a few and hitting the town before the event :pint:

Nice meet up of 9 of us from our Travel Lodge hotel for a lovely breakfast in Verso lounge , before all departing for various parts of UK.

Never been to Verso Lounge before , but the food and service was spot on!

Got the bug for nights out and mini holidays now...
