Well last night was bloody brilliant! We by chance spotted Evanescence were coming to Birmingham so got tickets as our anniversary present to each other. Concert was last night and it was AWSOME!! Turns out we were lucky, it was a rescheduled 2019 concert. The support group were Veridian then it was Evanescence followed by Within Temptation.
In the excitement and kerfuffle of getting ready and getting out, Ade forgot to put his shoes on......so ended up attending in his crocs that we wear as slippers. They are now dubbed the Rock Crocs  He blames me for not handing him his shoes. As he is a grown man I never gave it a thought. I couldn't quite believe it when as he got out of the taxi and there were his crocs 🤣😂

Excitement over when I went to send him a photo to tell him he was rich.. 500 OTSZAZ FORINT worth £1.08 😂

No, I've got me vest on, AND it's tucked into my pants!
I've been wearing my sun tops as vests for weeks. (cus I'm a frozen @rse )

Brings back childhood memories of the old Dr Arnold in Wolverhampton Rd surgery (In the days of it just being an old house, with the loos up the garden ). Quite a few times he told my mum "Bring her back when she's got a vest on !"

Had my first ever flu shot today, thought it might be a good idea given that I keep getting sick after gigs. Glad I got it in my non-drawing arm because it already aches like an absolute B!
For the first time, I had a 'thumped arm' from it this year, but it had largely subsided by the end of the next day.

I have changed my profile picture as it was previously my dog Minnie. She decided last night it was time to go and with that the house is quiet. No cat and no dog as they have both decided to leave us. Minnie hit me hard. I think because of the pandemic she has been at my side literally 24 hours a day.
Sadly there are reminders of her everywhere and I am not ready for that.
On a positive note, I get more room in the bed.

Best wishes mate, it's incredibly tough when they go. You don't realise how much of your daily routine they were a part of until they're gone.
