Is it osteoarthritis in you knees? I have it in mine, cocodamol for months then a cortisone injection did wonders in my right knee, just waiting for my appt to get my left knee done now... Not long to go..
She reckons not arthritis by how if is , even though I've got it in hands etc and my mum was riddled with osteo & rheumatoid arthritis in every joint.

Told me I needed stronger painkillers and inflammatory meds than the over the counter ones taking, and to ring me GP practice for some.
Took all day for my GP practice to find out what she wanted. Now can't just prescribe got to wait til first available phone appointment with clinical pharmacist 6 days away.

All the phone calls and emails back and forth yesterday have taken a hell of a lot longer than one person calling me and prescribing the suitable meds ☹️

Prescribed my own painkillers last night when we went to sons birthday do. 🍺🍺🍺🍺🍺🍺🍺🍺🍺🍺🍾🍾🍾🍾🥂🥂🥂🥂 on top of paracetamol and Ibuprofen enabled me to dance the night away from 6.30pm to after midnight with 30 of his mates.

Had a bloody good time , but boy am I suffering today ! 🤣 Don't know what's worse , my head or my knee ! 🤣

Dragged myself up out of bed at 2pm and walked like a zombie to local Tesco (need to keep the knee moving and probably still over the limit 🙄) , but not used to everyone strolling past overtaking me . ) to get a few essentials before the forecast snow arrives tonight.

Decided it's lemonade for me when we go for my birthday meal on thursday.....🤣

You have fox's too! Ditto
Loads of them around here. They hop over our fence nightly into the front garden from the woods. There's a den nearby. Son has loads by him as well . Keeps thinking someone is scaling his fence and gate when it rattles 😂
Unfortunately they haven't got much road sense. Dash across the roads so fast from the woods and hedges lining every road in the villages , I'm always on pins watching out for them whilst driving at night. Along with a few fox haters around here , leaving meat laced with poison 😭around the villages ( discovered when dogs have eaten it on their walks and ended up poorly or dead at the vets) quite a few aren't making to old age.

Not that I need any firewood , but found out from someones question on our local forum that it's not allowed to take wood from the massive storm felled oak and other trees . Apparently the council will 'be around at some point and remove to keep for future use' . Pretty sure it's of more use keeping someone warm if they have an open fire!

Been a few doggies sneaking a few branches off home 😉

There were a few trees down a while back in Loggerheads, so, my favourite Nephew and the little knobhead that my sister currently resides with, once donned the full chain saw using gear. Special trousers, waistcoats etc etc etc. They walked in to the area where the trees were, chopped them up, loaded the pick up and trailer and took them home.
Reminds me of the time all them lovely trees were chopped down in the name of progress at the old St.Georges site. The wood didn't hang around for long once the trees were felled.

It depends on who owns the trees, or the land they're on.

I knew a chap who was 'a bit of a character' and he was aware of a fallen tree on a sports field that had been there for some while. A few "lads he knew" offered to get it for him and it was cut up and removed late one evening. A few mornings later, local law enforcement turned up and asked him if he was in possession of the missing tree. As the pile of wood could be seen through the window behind him, he had to admit that he was. He was then cautioned for being in possession of stolen property. This was all the more amusing, as he was sitting in his wheelchair at the time and hadn't bothered to put his false leg on that early in the day.

It was 'suggested' that it might be returned and things would be forgotten about.

"The lads" were organised to take most of the tree back - although 'some' may have been retained to cover the work done in cutting it up.

Hearing sawing in the woodland pathways nearby , just went out to investigate to see if the council were sawing and taking away the fallen tree. They'd stood and looked at the massive ones next to it, leaning towards the very close nearby houses , and declared "Those are safe!".

But no....nothing to do with those trees a bit further along. They're now sawing a smaller one which has crashed down nearby overnight ...... (The council don't own the bit of woodland right next to my house , we have found out it was never signed over from the housing development company which has long dissappeared .So no idea who I'd contact if one of those crashed down my way. Just hoping , if they do topple, it's not as I'm using my short cut through from my side 'woods' gate....... Always feel guilty as people walking past , seeing me suddenly emerge from the bushes, must think I've been taken short 🤣 )
