Apologies to anyone using the Isabel Trail today. This fat and seriously unfit body of mine will be riding a bike from Tollgate to home and then back again later, due to my Bobby going into the garage for a service. I do ask you not to laugh, just give pitying glances to the poor bike carrying me to and from the garage.
Note to self -
Do not ever attempt this whilst being so unfit, you think you're going to burst a lung! Took me 30 minutes to get home, not bad considering how long it's been since I last got on the bike. Best bit was actually getting on the Isabel trail. Will probably take me a lot longer to go pick Bobby up.

No apologies to those that saw me pushing said contraption up any slight raise in road, or bridge, size of my arse, you don't want see that going uphill!
I raise my hat to those of you who ride a bike everyday.

Hubby walks down there , I'll get him to look out for you and give a shout of encouragement as you zoom past . :D

Fat, red faced, ginger woman riding a pink and purple mountain bike. (Other bikes are available).
Breathing sounds a bit like a 100 a day smoker, language like a navvy. x
Decided against telling him your name , don't want him arrested for scaring every female down the trail asking if they are 'Glam'

Edited...too late , he read the message before I deleted it ....

I is back, took 30 minutes, again. Pushed it up past Watsons scrapyard, think i'd have a stroke plus heart attack attempting ride up there. Small wave to @littleme as I rode past the common, although there's no way she'd have been able see me, too many weeds up them side banks.
Didn't see Mr @staffordjas with his video camera on the Isabel trail, I'dve given him a wave and a smile if i'd heard my name.
Small note. Next time have a word with the Precious son*, see if he'll run me up both ways, or pay for a ruddy taxi!

* Precious son, aka the eldest.

Thank you for the wave, I wasn't there though, I was at work (on my day off)!

Got home from work to realise that the minced beef I'd taken out of the freezer this morning wasn't in the fridge, but sitting there all brown & sweating next to the fridge... Hasty trip to the local co-op.... £4.60 for a 500g packet of *mince! What a total rip off, I'd forgotten how expensive local convenience shops are. 🤬🤬🤬

*I pay £3.10 in sainsburys for the normal stuff, or £3.50 for the taste the difference range, less staff discount!

Queens jubilee weekend
Would anyone be interested in spending the day on a helicopter flight for 4 people? We are still looking for 2 more people to join us. We leave early Saturday morning from Thruxton Airport and will fly overlooking londons celebrations and land back at Portsmouth Marina , where we will have a champagne breakfast and then move on to a yacht for lunch.
Then we’ll sail along the coast to watch the seals and dolphins, then returning to the marina and go out for a 5* dinner, before flying back home to Thruxton later in the evening.
If interested please pm me.

Preferably someone with a helicopter and yacht, otherwise we can't go..............

I can supply the helicopter. Needs a bit of work, lick of paint, some jubilee clips, maybe a dash of super glue. I'll be able to fly it too once I finish this Dummie's Guide book.

Had some good news for a change. Husband passed (or failed depending on how you look at it) his fitness for work assessment for the DWP. They have sensibly agreed he is fit for the glue factory only so won't be asking for fit notes each month or expecting him to go be a forklift driving, c&c lathe operator in a warehouse while driving a bus anytime in the near future. Nor will they call him every 2-3 weeks to see if he is miraculously cured yet. We might get a bit extra each month too, so whoopie we might be able to pay the leccy bill. Next step getting him to apply for PIP and see how that goes.
