It's only 5 mins past the Ladies College but yes it is a bit further out. Cracking grub and wine selection, though.
Although I realise they're known for good food, that wouldn't be a 'pull' for us as we enjoy spending our evenings in town, around Montpellier etc.

To the owner of the yellow paint daubed car: DON’T clean it up. Give it a pretentious title like “Man’s inhumanity to man” and enter it for the Turner Prize.

Yes, a bit far out for the pubs, but so is the railway station.
( It was in Cheltenham during March 1974 that I first drank the Wadworths that I've enjoyed so much in the Anchor and the Coach and Horses during recent years )

Well Napalese takeaway couldn't come to me, so I found some Napalese paste to make my own, and 2 others that I haven't heard of.... Looking forward to my Saturday night Napalese curry!

Hey!

Ooo I'm not sure what I've pressed?! I left a review on Vege oots page (they're an amazing local cake company!) But maybe I've clicked something wrong?

Thanks for letting me know!

I walked Tamar Lake this morning in sunshine with little or no wind as you can see. You rarely see it so glass like. When I came home I wandered down the village for a bit of shopping and then wandered into my local for a couple of pints sitting outside in the Sun (first time in weeks.) The landlord came out for a chat and we discussed the usual shit you do in pubs: politics, local gossip, whether or not there's an alternative Universe just a Planck length away but at right angles to the normal three dimensions we know of.
I popped into the Co-op on the walk home and the girl behind the counter greeted me by name even though I was wearing a black mask. I thought: 'Well that's my f****** career as a bank robber down the pan !!'
All in all, a good day. ;)
