Just on the way to Brands for the finale to the Superbikes season.

Had to take the train because I can't drive that far comfortably with my shoulder yet.

Not looking forward to the tube or being captive in the Mercure Brands hotel for two nights. Might have to order another food delivery to the bar from the Indian restaurant down the road.

My bag weighs a ton with the Izaac Walton beers I've had to pack to avoid drinking hotel pints

This has now been updated with an additional "GRASS" scrawled across it in paint and "F The Police" over several walls nearby. Lovely.

That must be nearly as useful for the Police as if the vandal had walked into a Police Station ( if they could find one ) and owned up.

They don't even check the pubs for underage drinkers or for kids scrumping apples like they did when I was a kid in the seventies!!

All this godawful graffiti everywhere is starting to wear on me a bit. Alongside the "F The Police" ones I mentioned yesterday, a family friend had 'Rapist Police' scrawled on the side of his house in the same paint and yesterday I went under a bridge to see "vaccinating children against covid is child abuse". And we still have all the "Info War's . com" and 'we carnt breathe' all over the place after a year. Is that just it now, we have to look at this awful shite every single day?

Apparently the police turned up this morning with a wire brush to try and erase it but failed. I hear my dad then went over with some stuff and has successfully erased most of it, just a bit of a yellow smear left behind.

Saw another bit of new graffiti up near where the Garth Hotel used to be, "depopulation vaccine".
