Day off.... Diabetic nurse appointment.... 'youre not diabetic if you keep taking the diabetic tablets', hairdryer blew up, Boobygramme time at county hospital, hairdryer, food and plant shopping, planned a bbq but weather decided against that.... And finally, FINALLY, the car settlement came through.... Only 2 months & 9 days after the accident!
So having a good day then? 😂

Seriously I hope all's ok.

I have returned from the pub, where it was decided that we would light the fire, after all...

Today I'm off to a wedding, last week, I went to the bosses retirement do, week before I went to an evening do for another wedding.
I've just sat here and realised that is normally my lot for a year :soz:

If there is a short arse woman taking pictures, it may be my daughter. She is taking pictures at a wedding today.

Spoke to Eddy Redmayne today, it was a very boring conversation as I pretend not to know who he is, while the others all flap round trying to get photos with him.

I still don't see the attraction, although he's always very lovely. (I still think he needs a decent meal) Funny to think he buys stuff from Argos & Sainsbury though.....

( I thought you was talking about a football manager at first , but I was thinking of Harry Redknapp  )

Check those Aldi receipts! Not often they are wrong , but I've just had to get a refund on Aldi's Beef tomatoes. Going through as Water Melons at £2.59 each ....

Trying to book the trip to Latvia, looks like the health certificates for the dogs will cost more than the rest of the trip put together (diesel, eurostar, ferry from GER-LAT...).

I feel the need to edit and add **** you brexit and all the idiots who voted for you, not a single tangible benefit just lots of problems/costs.

It was held at The Riverside Hotel at Branston B-O-T. I had a fantastic time, drank way more than I normally would in a decade! 5 pints of Peroni, 3 glasses of champagne, 1 of Proseco, numerous very expensive soft drinks, and I had the best nights sleep in months.
Those of us who couldn't afford stay at the Riverside had booked the Ibis Budget, and boy was it budget! We walked in as the Housekeeper was mopping the floor, she had a tut and a moan at us for walking all over her floor, she then asked if we'd got early check in, and then sat down to book us in. We all fancied a cooked breakfast, which the hotel does, but 1 look at the dining room and no-one had any appetite, bit of a dive. Can't fault the room, it was what I wanted, a bed and en-suite bathroom.
I paid £36 for the night, train station not 100 yards away, never heard a thing.

Enjoying a drop of red.
Back from a brilliant day at Wembley yesterday. Must say the drive home on a Sunday morning was a great deal more pleasurable than the drive down on Friday evening. p jr revising on the journey there and back now gone to his room for the rest of the day to revise some more!

You don't think no longer being in the Common Agricultural Policy isn't a benefit? 🤔
