The scrappage scheme doesn't even exist, it's made up. They often use not quite government symbols to pretend it's something official but its a lie.
Yeah that’s what I gathered… I wonder how much it’d cost if I got a quote based on no windows in place, and a quote with windows

<~~~ buggers off to Google who the hell Jake Wood is. I don't watch Eastenders!
Nor me. I had to google him as well , after seeing it mentioned about crowds flocking to see him in the local news. ( I thought everyone was watching one of the homeless people in the doorway at first 😂 )

That's ridiculous. I only go in when I know I'm going to have people to talk to.

Pretty much.....it's a great feeling being ignored and feeling a valued member of the "team" at least I'm not being micro managed?

Every cloud 'n all

I have no choice, and I have to talk to people. Shame I can't do my job from home. I think the great unwashed might have sumat to say if I did.

I'm called into the work every week to "be more connected to the rest of the team"......only to sit in an over heated office that is being used for storage of other stuff and not speak to a single soul all day......

I can do that at home.

I need a new job...
Same here, one day a week and only if days coincide with my boss.

Hubby hasn't got an office anymore , even if he wanted to go in . (Unless he wants to fly over to the office in Germany , which he's proved he doesn't have to ). They've got rid of it a few weeks ago , his working from home since we moved has worked well so his 2 work colleagues are also now working full time from home . (Can't believe there were 110 working there when he first started 31+ years ago , and now down to just the 3 of them ....he must be doing something right to survive the numerous rounds of redundancies!)

He says he's talking to work colleagues and customers more over the phone from home than he used to in the office.

Got his work mate and her hubby visiting us at the weekend . Put our order in with her for loads of Staffordshire Oatcakes which we can't get down here in Worcester. Made space in the freezer especially for them . Our tradition on xmas morning is Oatcakes with bacon and cheese .... not the same after being frozen , but better than none at all. :D

I understand that you don't have any choice and I'm very grateful for the role you do. If those of us who can work from home do it would make a massive difference to climate change.

I am glad I dont have to drive the M6 to Cov every day now.

Getting people to and companies to actually talk with me in the role that I do is proving more and more difficult now.

no money, no room for R&D, our customers dont require the service you offer......

Anyways...back on topic :)

A friend of ours found them in a London supermarket in the 'World foods' section.
Son got them from this local Tesco a few years ago , just the once. They must have trialled them in there and not sold as no-one knew what they were. I asked an assistant by the bread part for them and they looked at me as though I'd gone stupid, pointed me to the biscuit aisle and the hard biscuit like Scottish oatcakes:roll:

Enjoying a drop of red.
