After seeing my GP this morning , at his request as the latest photos had showed change which worried me , he says the alien on my neck which appeared 17 weeks ago isn't cancerous. Phew! :)

Feel much better now, knowing that it is nothing to worry about and can easily be removed when I reach the top of the waiting list.

Not so good news is that the waiting list for minor surgery that I've been on for a few months is MASSIVE , as they haven't done any minor surgery for a year due to covid . So the usually long waiting list has that extra year added on to it.

I can't stand clothes high around my neck , so looking like an ugly freak it's got to be then for quite a while yet

Took a walk to the Land of Pound yesterday, first time for ages. Amongst my purchases was a tube of Body Glitter. Never used the stuff in me life, thought why not give it a go. I'm offski a Hen do in October as Queen of Hearts, I want jazz it up a bit.
What a ruddy mistake! I only used the tiniest of blobs on me arm, I lit up better than Blackpool Illuminations!
Best thing is, the blooming stuff has got everywhere. Even though I washed my hands after using it, I've found glitter bits all over the bathroom, kitchen and my bedroom.
I can even see a tiny bit on my glasses as I'm typing this.

(Mind you, I am going back to 1982 following a shattered kneecap at the Physio down the southern side of the SGI :P)

I still think of that as the 'old hospital ' each time I go past it now. Brings back many memories of visiting and having operations, X-rays etc in there myself and walking the dingy corridors . (Were some underground ? Seemed it at the time or was that just because they had no windows in the corridors and some of the rooms?)

I poured boiling water over my arm as a child, I'm sure the part of the hospital I visited was underground..... Or at least it's down the ramp that you can't see from the Rd..... Making it feel underground.

Enjoying a drop of red.
I feel no nostalgia at all for the SGI. It was a hateful place as far as I'm concerned and seeing most of it knocked down was a great day.
