Me to!

I think you should spend your weekend sauntering around town in your uniform! ;)
I eventually got what I wanted from Boots, should've gone there in the first place!
That uniform is far too thick to wear on days like today, all of us roast our socks off in them.
And why is it, all the lady assistants in Boots always look lovely? Not a hair out of place? Unlike myself, I always look like I jumped out of bed, got dressed in the dark and forgot where I put my hairbrush.

They do it on purpose to intimidate us mere mortals!

Probably some overlap between “people that work at Boots and need to know how to tell people about makeup” and “people that take a lot of care for their appearance”. (That sounded like a jab, it wasn’t)

In other news, spent today sanding down garden furniture and painting it. So glad we purchased that palm sander as we’d still be on the first piece doing it by hand.

32 feet of rope ordered for me by the OH. He was mortified when i pointed out it was bondage rope with a no chaff guarantee.

It's for making dog toys.

Enjoying a drop of red.
Work calls finished, couple of hours excercise and sightseeing done in the bikes, BBQ eaten, darkness descending.

Plenty of wine left to enjoy the rest of the evening before turning on the aircon for a good night's sleep.

Nite nite all...

Ooo, AirCon. Split unit? Or standalone?

Ceiling ducted.

Lucky... I want HVAC. Guessing you’ve got some fancy, large modern house if you have ducting then? They love it in the US abut it would eat up so much wall cavity space here

We’ve been trying to great Split AC installed without breaking the bank but there’s barely anyone in Stafford that does it and the only quote we’ve had only worked with the crazy expensive stuff

We're away in the camper van at the moment. House doesn't have air con.

Felt surprisingly good before breakfast, think I was still under the effects of all the 'off menu' Pina Coladas the Portuguese barman was concocting for me last night.
Herd of elephants above are leaving today apparently, otherwise we would have changed rooms. (We've got a smashing room though, so don't really want to move).
How can someone stomp around a hotel room constantly for hours, all day and most of the night...:ohno:

Ahh, that makes a lot more sense.

Might just camp out in the car if it gets too hot. Never been more thankful of pre-heat/pre-chill than in this weather.

Paying over £100 a night to be encouraged not to want our room cleaned, and to get out of the hotel as early as possible on departure day rather than enjoying the mornings stay we've paid for.
'
*We can save 35 litres of water by not cleaning your bathroom and not changing your towels and linen.

*Reduce our use of toilet cleaner, multipurpose cleaner and air freshener.

*Save power by not operating a vacuum cleaner, lights and heating whilst cleaning your room.

*We know check-out time is 12 noon but if all guests did that we would find it difficult to have all rooms ready for check-in at 2pm. So please let us know before 2am what time you expect to check out by ticking 8am,9am,10am,11am, by 12noon'

Used to feel like a valued customer, enjoying a bit of luxury for a few days. But now seems price stays high, but they don't want to supply the high standard of service anymore (had to buy our own loo rolls from Tesco across the road last stay as " the hotel deliveries haven't arrived". )

Will be viewing other hotels whilst enjoying a walk out down the river today :)
