Today I'm starting my 2nd attempt at painting the fences & gates, after I injured my back doing the same thing in May! Fingers crossed.

Best of luck!

What's the deal with all those markings on the path by the entrance to the Shoe Shed? Looked like regular pavement markings when they first appeared but they've multiplied over the week into a collage of alien-looking, multi-colour glyphs and symbols. I keep thinking I might get transported into an alternate dimension when I walk over them.

Is it graffiti or is there just some extremely complex development work planned that involves the need for occult incantations?

You mean you haven't been transported to an alternative dimension after walking over it? DAMMIT! I knew using the incantation I found on the back of Witch Weekly looked too good to be true. Tell me have you noticed anything strange at all? I'm just writing a letter of complaint and I'd like all the information...

Enjoying a drop of red.

Stafford already is an alternate dimension. This could be the gateway to normality...

Today I have been nursemaid to the youngest, This morning he had lazer eye surgery at Aston University in Birmingham.
He has had to have drops in every hour till bedtime, and an antibiotic 3 times followed by a gel one, similar to Hypromellose.
It appears to have worked, he sat in my room and was able to read the small print on a book, something he obviously needed his glasses for beforehand. He hasn't had it done for vanity, he just wants to do without the glasses he's been wearing since he was 11.

I'm incredibly short sighted, and wear contacts, I would dearly love to have lazer eye surgery but am too scared. My friend had it on one eye, but it hurt so much that she never went back for the other! Hope he's doing ok!

If I woke up with perfect vision in the morning, I would have to get some plain glasses made - I'm not walking around with nothing in front of my eyes - utter madness.

He int too bad to be honest, had both eyes done, cos there's no way he's going back again. Little bit of pain, but that's to be expected.
Going back down tomorrow see how it's gone. Big brothers taking him,

He's on about doing that, AND!! He's going shave his face hair off! He'll look 12.

He's VERY brave having it done. Glad it's worked for him and all going well. :)

I used to have perfect eyesight so wasn't used to glasses until in my 50's. I now hate having to hunt in my bag for reading glasses everywhere I go , and wearing my varifocals for driving. But that's the best option for me as I hate anything to do with my eyes.

I can't even wash my eyes with optrex the couple of times I've needed it, never mind the thought of attempting contact lenses.

Keep getting the opticians angry as I blink as the puff of air gets shot at my eyeballs on the machine.

Braver than me babb, I only started wearing glasses due to the use of computers at work. I bought several pairs of readers because I mislay them all the time.

He seems to be doing ok this morning, even managed to put a couple of the drops in himself, only because I was still in the land of nod, now I'm up, he int going do anymore!
