I assume you are aware that Octopus have put the night time rate on Go up to 12p per kWh, although Intelligent Octopus is now 10p per kWh (for 6 hours). Whilst this shouldn't affect existing fixed term deals, it needs to be factored into any longer term planning.

As for the Government, well trying to second guess their energy strategy, and its impact, is nigh on impossible.
