Wow ! The phrase (attributed to Harold Wilson) that “a week is a long time in politics” has been seriously devalued. What is a long time in politics now . . . 30 minutes . . . 5 milliseconds ??

Was talking about Cruella resigning yesterday, the reason given for such a sadistic bitch to leave seemed so wrong, I had a feeling she was lining herself up as a 'moral' alternative to Truss. It's be funny if it wasn't actually deadly.

My wife wants Sunak, because he seems clever enough to only steal what the country can survive. A parasite rather than a predator, if you will.

Enjoying a drop of red.
£115,000 year for the rest of your life.

Not a bad result for 45 days buggering up the country.
Now be fair. She wasn't able to do anything over the first couple of weeks because of the Queen's death, so in fact she's been able to bugger up the country in only 31 days.

I'm beginning to wonder at what point in the last few months I fell asleep one night and woke up in an alternate Universe. A universe where 1 + 1 does not equal 2, PI is NOT an irrational number, and democracy is explained by 'String Theory,' a branch of physics that nobody really understands, but looks good on paper.

Just a moment. Just a moment. (Famous movie quote.)

According to 'String Theory' at some fundamental level the entire Universe is held together by tiny pieces of string.

Mmmmm ....

Come to think of it, that is starting to make some sense to me .....:P:facepalm:

Theo - Who - Clarke voted against a ban on fracking

Therefore she voted to frack

Theo is your Stafford sitting MP representing the Conservative Party

Shale gas is present in the lower intestine where she will help explore and explode any possibilities
Nice to know she can make time to vote against this clearly terrible bill this during her maternity leave

Zahawi as Chancellor? I've had a look round and it seems to be true, although I did think it was probably a spoof - a bloke who claimed six grand on expenses for heating his stables? Let's trust him with the nation's finances, eh..?

I suppose it was either him or Dorries, so it's probably a good call, really.
So farewell then Zahawi
You just got fined for not paying taxes
Whilst you were Chancellor
