New Fitted Bedroom

After 20 years we want to upgrade the fitted wardrobes in our bedroom.
These were Strachan, expensive at the time, the quality is great but they are very dated.

We’ll probably get them up to do another quote but I wondered if anyone can recommend another company.
We don’t want inferior quality but we don’t particularly want to spend a fortune either, something middle of the road perhaps.

Does anyone have any experience of Sharps or Starplan?

What sort of style do you want? Can you go direct to joiner?

We’ve used this guy for a few pieces of freestanding stuff but friends of ours have just had fitted bedroom furniture and it looks amazing! He’s not the quickest though so if you’re in a hurry he’s probably not worth contacting. they said it was considerably cheaper than their sharps quote too.

I assume you are happy with your kitchen? The in-laws are looking at a new kitchen but have only been to B&Q and one other place so are looking at alternatives

Thank Lucy, I see that the showroom is in Gailey, we’ll go and have a look at the weekend.

Hiya, we used Starplan when we were in Eccleshall, had a great choice of finishes and they did a brilliant job.
When we had a new bedroom in Woodseaves Mrs T decided to go with Sharps as we knew the local rep. Got a decent job but not as professional as Starplan.

We used MYA to get a couple of bedrooms done. The price was low so we didn't have a massive expectation but they were only guest bedrooms so...

They turned out to be very good and I would recommend them. They don't know it yet but I'm going to be persuading them to come and do or kitchen and master bedroom in Formby.

We were only looking at getting the guest bedrooms done so weren't looking to spend a massive amount. The finished product certainly does not look 'bargain' and nothing was too much trouble.

When they do our kitchen in Formby, I'm prepared for it costing a lot more (excluding the travel time etc) but I'm going to be quite demanding about the spec I want.
