That would be grand - also noticed that the unit carpet right used to be in (in the corner next to Matalan) is being 'done up'. Anyone know who is moving into that one?

Yes I think I have also discovered that Boots is going in at the old Carpet Right from September, and the Powerhouse is going to be a Next at Home - so that will be two next retail operations on that site!

This will leave one unit - between Carpet Right and Matalan vacant, currently being used as storage by Carpet Right until they find a tenant

Well, there you go. Great forum this by the way, I stumbled on it by accident, but it is really good.

It is pretty impressive the turn around on that retail park, the girls and I went the other week and it was heaving.

Sorry for any delay, only the workmen down at queensville are difficult to question as they are behind a huge barricade. However it seems the unit in the corner (used to be carpetright) is destined to become Boots and the old flower/power house is still under negotiation, the favourite option seems to be to flatten the site as it's too big for a certain fast food eaterie who would easily clean up down there given the masses that are now flocking down there.....

I think the old PowerHouse/Flowerhouse is now destined to become a NEXT AT HOME

Shepherds Bushes is now "Spit and Sawdust" and is open to take your money. Doesn''t appear to have changed dramatically in terms of its target audience.

Not sure if this has been reported yet, seems we are getting a new Spar shop in the town centre it's opening soon (no date given ) in Malt Mill Lane........

Indeed it's gonna be on the ground floor under the new and un-let apartments adjacent to the estate agency. It was discussed at sat night's bash and generally agreed that it would bring a bit of action to that part of the town centre which currently seems to be rivalling the co-op precinct.....

I see that The Works has returned - and will open on Saturday - on the corner of Stafford Street, opposite Millets.
