not to set any resolutions....but to meet of the targets/aims i set myself last year and never completed.

im going to stop letting cellar woes rule my life and complete the following jobs:

1) fix outhouse roof and door (well, pay someone else to do it anyway!)

2) get bro to build bbq

3) get bro to build raised beds, ill plant stuff

4) get mum to plan front yard, get bro to dig it, and i can plant stuff

5) silver guild mirror in front room

6) frame mums artwork for front room (well, pay someone else to do it anyway!)

7)get new carpet for attic/stairs/landing

8) plan 30th birthday party in july

9) lose 2 dress sizes by birthday so can be a skinny minny 12 to start old age. (:D this is the least likely to happen! lol)

so, i managed to complete a grand total of 2 of my 2009 aims for the year (4, which i did all by myself in march and 8, for which i am very grateful to slainte, andreas rex and g-unit for helping me get ready on the day)

its fair to say that the cellar woes have largely been ignored this year as much as possible and ive ended up concentrating on Imogen's Imagination as a totally diversionary exercise.....which ive thoroughly enjoyed! :D

my aims for this year are to try and blitz those jobs left over from last year but the new ones are:

1) get the council to insulate my loft for free
2) have attic replastered and painted after the council do their bit and before the carpet bit
3) finish the next 3 terms of my evening class in leeds (30 weeks altogether)
4) stop being a supporting act to various designers at fashion shows and showcase my own collections
5) get the website sorted properly
6) get my christmas presents made by october so i dont end up rushing like i did this year

this year will be the year of the house and the year of the hat! :)

i'm doing the obligatory "drink more water, eat more healthily" thing.. it's a nightmare.. having an apple for breakfast then nothing 'til lunchtime is nobody's idea of fun, let me tell you..
it's amazing how quickly "an apple" can turn into "a full english, extra hash browns" lol..

an apple? what was i thinking??

As I remember I acted as drunken foreman before getting a cable tie stuck tight enough round my finger to warrant risking losing it to a large kitchen knife. You're welcome ;)

but you did sort me out with a dj, bbq'er and by my liaison and chivvyer of jamie...so maybe you were more useful in the run up! :)

although the drunkeness i believe was simply a topping up of levels of the ridiculously impromptu session you and i embarked on the night before, which, was a farking brilliant night i should add! :pint: :monkeydance:
