Oh yes, it's by no means mandatory, but a few people had expressed alarm that there was no such general 'Introductions' thread, so I thought I would make one, so first-timers can test out making a post just to say "Hi!" to see how the basics work. :D

Welcome, indeed.

I notice that you say, "I enjoy reading some of your posts" - can I point out that Mr Marwood is an acquired taste...

Hello!

Not much to tell, but I've lived in Stafford for 46 years and I love my town.
I am a local business owner, as were my parents. And I'm glad to be a member here :)

Hi I have just signed up to this forum so that I can have my say. I think too many people moan but not many actually do anything about it. Well that is not me. I am all for fighting for the cause and am prepared to put my money where my mouth is.

Hello everyone, I forgot to do this when I signed up a couple of days ago. Nice to finally meet you all, I have to admit that I have been a 'lurker' for months and months and have thoroughly enjoyed reading all of your posts, especially the one about Tramps- it was fascinating! I have lived in Stafford for 15 years, have 3 children, 1 husband and 2 cats, currently a housewife, but looking at going back to work especially something that would fit in with a primary school child, any ideas welcome :) Nice to meet you all.
