Hey all
I've been waiting for parcels to be delivered sent on the 1st Dec by various sellers, we have had no post for 4 days not even junk.

Even the parcels I sent over 10 days ago have not been recieved by my buyers

Is there a problem or backlog in Stafford ?

Help! Very weird!

How do I edit this?
My sources in the PO tell me that because bikes couldn't be taken out during the snow many rounds got backed up significantly.

No post, No diesel at Tesco or Asda this morning, shortage of bread and milk!! We should be ashamed of ourselves!! I was on the tube in London on Saturday (The busiest day of the year?) and some services were suspended due to 'Staff Training' Laughing stock of Europe, irrespective of politics

I've been told exactly the same and if the weather gets bad again it will only get worse. I think royal mail are refusing to give out overtime as well. Basically forget getting your parcels in time for Christmas

Let me tell you this (Its what I do for a living) cut the fat is OK, and you can cut a bit of muscle, but when you start to cut the bone you will have immeasurable impact, any business any service, any where effects will be felt, But also, employees should be fighting to keep their services going - be responsive to your customers, look after them and you never know. Ignore them and the only thing you need to to do is have your NI number close to hand

Tesco must have run out of petrol as well , the petrol station was closed off with cones tonight when we drove past.

I've had post today. My bro in law is a postie, says there is a mahoosive back log due to days of snow deliveries.

That said I ordered some stuff on Amazon last Wed night around 7pm it was at my door by mid-day Friday, no special postage paid either!

When we hadn't received insurance documents that were promised to be sent out 'immediately'a couple of weeks ago from Bournemouth,we phoned them last night. Turns out that they hadn't actually been posted out by them yet as they "have a big work load". Seems that they are using this postal delay through the weather as an excuse not to do their job as efficiently!! :(
