no satelite signal

my satelite is not working what can be wrong with it? it is only display message:
no satelite signal has been received helllllllllllp!!!!!!!!!

I 'fixed' one the other day by unplugging it and starting it up again - sometimes they just 'lose their marbles'...

That is the limit of my skills - does the wire look OK - has the dish moved in the wind? Does it still point the same way as other dishes around you?

cables are ok it could be moved that what i think but how to set it up back?

Can you see any other dishes to compare its direction with?

yes i did set more less like next door one but is not working anyway

It could be the LNB on the dish or maybe still the cable..

Mine does that in heavy rain. My guttering overflows on the corner of the house and water runs down on to the dish underneath. It does my head in, but obviously not that much as its been like it for 6 years!

You could also check the cable connection.

it was just the weather, most likely.. sky posted various things on their facebook and twitter yesterday:
