Nothing better to do - Eccleshall

Just a warning, the low crime rate has resulted in some surplus police time as FOUR of them are on the A519 on the run in to Eccleshall - down the hill between the Badger turning and the village centre. When I went past some bloke was upset as he had been caught doing 33 (admittedly there was a whole collection of mashed babies and mutilated children stuck to the front of his car) and had been pulled by the man with the gun. The other three were issuing the queue of cars with tickets - every single car which came over the brow of the hill was pulled by mr pistol slinger.

If nothing else it looks like it's not costing us much as if they continue to do such good business they will easily pay for their time spent there.

Accepting fixed penalty tickets is an admission of guilt

Refuse to accept and explain that you were avoiding a rare albino black sheep that had escaped from a very strange dream you were having because you were high on Maltesers and Nesquick, and then the beak is bound to dismiss the case ( fruit )

They didn't get me, but then again I had just pulled off my drive and spotted them.
I mentioned them in the pub later and an ex cabby who, I understand, got banned for drink driving and wrecking his cab about three weeks ago was particularly vitriolic about their presence.
