Hmmmm. Well. I thought it was a good idea at the time. But now I find I'm a NowTv Widow!

Not only have I been made to watch endless Tinkerbell movies (who knew there were so many), but husbands making me watch random films too!

Last night we watched Noah - if there had been rock monsters in the Sunday School version of Noahs Ark then I'm sure I would of found it MUCH more entertaining!

*must pay more attention.

Went to use Plex rarflix on my Now TV and the trailer function has stopped working, anyone else had this ?

Does the official version have the trailer options ? if so how do i change back to the original ? sorry for all the question.

I'm mainly getting it for the ethernet, but the box is a lot faster than the white one so I'm hoping a new version of plex may handle more codecs natively. Shame they dropped the headphone remote though :(

If Plex works on it maybe i will get one, i use Rarplex only because you can see YouTube trailers but that has been broken for a few months now so going back to normal Plex is no biggie for me, i look forward to you reporting back if it works.

I got my self an Amazon Fire TV Stick during the promotion on "Prime Day". It's now replaced my raspberry pi running Raspbmc. Although it is more expensive than the Now TV Box I would recommend them!

what is the current / best version of plex for the original, white nowtv box? i've had a decent google, but since plex.tv upgraded their forums all the links on google are broken and i can't seem to get a proper answer!

i'm planning on doing a clean OS reinstall on my main computer, so figure i might as well get my house in order and make sure all associated devices are up to date as well, and i haven't updated my nowtv box since i first put plex on it years ago so i would imagine it's out of date! is plex even what i should be using, or is there a new and improved fork that all the cool kids prefer?

The latest plex came out around Christmas time, or at least the latest nowtv one did. The problem is that the roku app moved to a paid model (only a few dollars, one off fee) but you can't buy it on the nowtv nor buy it elsewhere and copy it across. Leaves us in a bit of a limbo regarding updates.

AFAIK the latest version is 3.1.0, but I'm on a train and my Internet is patchy so having problems hooking you up a link
