But this is the End Of The World.

How long before we succumb to the woolly temptresses on the moor who shamelessly go naked, even on the Sabbath? How long can we survive being trapped in a virtual cage?

That is a bit of a mystery.

There are, however, much greater mysteries to dwell on – how do you get a Ford Transit into the middle of a peat bog?

I’m not expecting an answer to that.

The island shackscape is the apogee of the Northern Hebridean anti-aesthetic - members of the National Trust and kindred bastions of insipid taste ( :D ) will no doubt fail to acknowledge the fantastical beauty of what is here.

They should be pitied...

I am considering launching a religion based on the pronouncements of Johnathan Meades....
Identity is a perennial concern of the far right.

It’s enemies are restlessness and cosmopolitanism. Identity, in this sense, is a form of communitarianism, which defines people by there race and inherited culture, rather than by their individuality, their aspirations and their talents.

It’s a kind of prison.
Sounds more political than religious don't it? Comes together though

It [the far right again]'s sores will never heal
One day, one day i'll just listen without taking notes.

All hail Macbeth, Thane of Morepure.
