I did a segway safari experience day using groupon a few months ago - was really fun! I now also want one of these! but at £5000 each I'm not that desperate! And there's not many places you can take them in Britain I believe (although it may just be a rumour) because of laws about wheeled things on public pathways and such.

I saw some police on Segways once in Birmingham... it looked like a group of Robocops lol!
Note the extra doughnut transportation capacity demonstrated by the one on the left here...

...how would a pregnant woman urinate in that helmet?*

* Before anyone asks, this law is actually a myth. The real law is that girls under 6 and pregnant women are allowed to urinate in public - unless it's in contravention of any other law. Peeing in a Bobby's hat constitutes criminal damage :P

Car drivers and drivers of horse drawn vehicles can urinate against the offside rear wheel of their vehicle provided they keep their right hand on the vehicle. The Town Police Causes Act 1847 covers this & seems to be still in force, a debate in the House of Lords on 29 November 2005 suggested so.

I'm unsure that that the law allowing the people of Chester being legally free to shoot Welshmen, within the city walls, with a longbow after sunset has been officially repealed - i'd like to think not.

I'm similarly unsure whether it is technically illegal to peel parsnips in Market Square. Presumably now that there is no well, you can't really be said to be in danger of contaminating it, perhaps a test case is in order?
