Hello all,
Some while ago, a friend told me about a pub he had visited somewhere in the Stafford area.
He said that the landlord had a collection of the old penny slot amusement machines (anyone remember the Allwin de luxe machines where you flicked a lever that sent a steel ball round and round until it fell into a cup - usually 'lose')?
Anyway, he couldn't remember the name of the pub, and I can't recall his rather vague description of how he'd got there.
I'd love to find it, have a pint with the gaffer, and see some of these grand old machines again.
Does anyone know where he was referring to?
