We have had a greater spotted woodpecker drumming on the tree at the bottom of next doors garden for three days nearly all day! Some times being at home in the sun has some has some benefits!:stafford:

At it again! so probably either, not got a mate yet, :hug: it is a particulalry fruitful rotten Eucalyptus full of juicy bugs! :munch: (unlikely!) or it's saying:- This corner of Rowley is 'MY MANOR':bananarock:

We have had Reed Buntings for the first time this year. It is always an exciting time when new ingredients visit the garden.

PS a little bird tells me someone is hoping I get a job! :heyhey: Well I start on Wednesday, but its shifts + nights, so I will need to occupy my time on samat!;)

Great to see the Common Crane on the site recently aquired by Stafforshire Wildlife, (I assume it's on their bit of Radford) Only started breeding in the UK in 2007, so lets hope it stops, and finds a mate. (Unlikely as it is a bit far from East Anglia!:raise:) But by just being there its a bit of a coup for Staffs Wildllife and all the work they have done in that area!:stafford:
