OMG!

I have just parked in there and left without entering a shop.

This was because B&M seems to close at 8pm, although it looked open from the road.

If I disappear in the night, please send me a cake* with a file in.

*Lemon drizzle preferred.

Get back to the car before 10 or you will be locked in!!! :cops:

I believe that Dunelm and the Range both have both had "thou shalt not leave without thy vehicle" clauses for some time.

They’re not exactly prime location to wander elsewhere. Lidl, etc serves that purpose well already

I think the only time I’ve wandered off either of those carparks is to go to the other one...

Apparently the Kingsmead idea is being scrapped already

I’d love to hear the story of how that ended up being cancelled so quickly

Edit: seems a combination of a very dead Aldi over the weekend (word probably got around, their entire business is high throughput too) and it being in the paper

Indeed, but the Range/Focus/Do-It-All was a prime location for visitors to the Marshes to park.

Not that it ever seemed to be that much of an actual problem.

From what i got from talking from one of the store managers it was prompted by the recent flooding which drastically reduced the parking available and too many people taking the piss by parking up and going into town and not even bothering to shop at the site stores

So can anybody confirm the signs have changed back?
I've just sneaked in and out under cover of darkness.

I couldn't find any signs in the style posted recently. I did check the ones by the steps onto North Walls and there was no mention of the quarantine issue.

The signs seemed to be the ones I remember from some time ago.

.... Or instead of trying to quick fix in their own favour they could try solving the flooding problem that esteemed members of the forum said was definitely solved during the building works...
