Party Venue for kids

Hi :)

Can anyone recommend a good venue to hire out for a children's party (5th) for up to 20 children? Reasonably priced. For a couple of hours probably on a Saturday.

Also would anyone be able to recommend a childrens entertainer to do a couple of hours slot?

Thanks!

Littleworth Community Center is good as is St. Austin's church hall (I've hosted children's parties in both of those)

Details of both will come up with a google.

The Play Shed behind Tesco is ok if you're happy with basic facilities. The kid's food they do is ok & it's pretty cheap.

One would assume the Ten Pin/Laser Tag bear Lidl would bite your hand off as they basically live for birthday parties?

5 year-olds dude, they live in an altogether different dimension.

Ten Pin/Laser Tag is three to five years off.

Do not underestimate the simplicity of 'all round to mine' - but don't forget that only *you* says it ends @ the time you say it does - it only really ends when the last one is picked up. And you can see in your mind which one it will be. And it will be that one.

You can make that not your problem by taking it elsewhere.

Oh right yeah, I missed the 5 year old bit...

This is way outside my area of expertise

For that age I'm all for the 'book a partly slot at a play center and let them deal with everything' Come into Play in Stone is great, I'm sure the PlayShed in Stafford is fine but I've not been to a party there but quirk of having the boy going to a nursery in Stoke is I've spent more time at the 'Fenton Fun Factory' then anyone really needs to (It's again actually fine and I appreciate it having a separate room for the party food and they feed the grown ups)

For the boys birthday I have considered making use of the otherwise pointless bus stop outside of our house and booking the Chase Play Bus - http://www.chaseplaybus.co.uk/
