Patching chipped paint on a car..

ms. dirtybobby has got a couple of tiny chips in the paintwork of her car - only teeny tiny ones, barely 2mm square.. does anyone have any recommendations for the best way to patch them up/repair them? we've checked out the repair kits in Halfords, but they don't seem to have her exact shade of blue (Peugeot Antigua Blue, paint code MO3N)..

they really are tiny, and it's more the risk of rust or further chipping that she's worried about than appearance, as you really can't see them even if you go looking.. what does one do in this situation? :raise:

As an emergency measure mix up nail polish to as near a match as pos. and fill holes, till you can get the right paint.
I don't have to tell how to remove it when your ready to paint do ?

well, i'm sure no-one cares, but seeing as it seems to be a slow day on here i thought i'd update this thread as the exciting conclusion nears!

halford's wanted about £15.00 for a "close match" touch-up kit.. considering her car is less than 6 months old, ms. dirtybobby wasn't settling for that, so phoned the peugeot garage from whence her little car came.. they ordered in the exact match, which she is picking up tomorrow.. total cost? £4.00!

i'm sure you can all rest easy now, safe in the knowledge that my secondary mode of transport, and ms. dirtybobby's pride & joy, can continue its life untarnished..

Yep, for small chip/scuffs etc., Chipsaway down the bottom of Baswich lane do a fantastic job.
