Ok… better than Domino’s, marginally better than Caprino’s, Papa John’s tops it though

Chips were good, pizza was good though insanely greasy to the point of falling apart and the sauce wasn’t terribly flavourful. Stuffed crust wasn’t overly stuffed, but there was a pretty decent amount of toppings on the pizza itself.

Garlic bread wasn’t terribly garlicy.

Better than expected, though as @Thehooperman says the Meat Feast is certainly not a Meat Feast

For the price? Good stuff. We got the Large Special. Couldn’t do more than two slices at a time though.
Doesn't look to bad, I'm not the biggest pizza fan, but I do like Papa John's....no one I know ever seems to like it though!

Update: the pizza isn’t agreeing with my partner today, we’re probably going to give it a miss in the future.

In retrospect: It’s a bog-standard takeaway with a pizza focus. Same as Peppers, Towers, etc. Same kind of pizza as any kebab/burger/etc place that also does pizza. Albeit with an inordinate amount of pineapple-topped pizzas

IMHO, the most authentic pizza in town is the ones from Dough and Stone. It's just a shame they rarely seem to be online and delivering. I had an Italian manager for a year and he took us to a pizza place in Brum and it was just like the Dough and Stone pizzas, rustic and cooked in wood fired oven.

I din't know about this place til I went to the Knot & Plough with a lady friend the other week. I'd given the previous occupants a go last Summer, when I was searching for a decent Full English. That was pretty decent, even if a little strange, that in recent covid times they only dealt in cash and no cads accepted.
I'll give this new Pizza place a go at some point. Hope it survives and stays open for some time!

Same here. Always try a new place and wish it well. If it’s not for you then don’t have to go again but others will and hopefully that will give it enough business to remain.

They're up on Just Eat now, however their menu is configured wrong on the site as every time you have to add at least one extra topping option and it requests it to be a vegan pizza even if you buy a meaty one.

Oh and can pizza places stop putting jalapenos on the standard veggie pizzas, some of us like to actually be able to taste something instead of having their mouth on fire.
