Yes, I will be filming Mike Carnie and his Jazz All Stars, a legendary trad jazz band when they play at Stafford Jazz Society's gig at Stafford Rangers this Sunday lunchtime. I am doing this as a hobby thing because I love their music and I love hanging out with these old boys of British jazz, they belong to an era which is unlikely to ever be repeated. I met them a couple of weeks ago when they played the Gatehouse and they mentioned that they were wanting some up-to-date recordings, so that's what I will be doing on Sunday.
Now, would, by any freak chance, any of you like to help me with this? I only have one video camera and one tripod and it would be great to have at least two cameras to film with. So, would you have a video camera I may borrow for a couple of hours, or would you even like to come along and film the gig with me?
