Regent Theatre/Panto

Early this year I bought 15 theatre tickets to take the family to the Panto in Hanley.
I do know that quite a few theatres have cancelled their performances this year but I can’t find out any information for The Regent in Hanley.
There is no one answering the phone, the recorded message says performances cancelled until the end of October.
The website looks like it’s still selling tickets but I don’t know how they can possibly do it with social distancing.
Even with the 15 tickets that I’ve bought, it’s spread over 5 different households.

I just wondered if anyone had any more up to date information?

The only way I've ever managed to get through to ATG is via twitter, although that took a week. Even in normal times their phone queue was horrendous, and cut you off after an hour.

Thanks @Gramaisc but nothing on there gives any information about the panto other than showing that you can still buy tickets which isn’t helpful at all. For example I can go on The Gatehouse website and buy tickets for shows in October but that doesn’t necessarily mean that the shows are going ahead.

With the Panto most theatres had to decide in August whether to go ahead or not because they had to book actors, theatre technicians, sound engineers etc and then start rehearsing.
Theatres have to be at least 65% capacity to break even so it just wouldn’t be feasible with social distancing.
This is why most theatres made a decision to cancel.
Having heard nothing from ATG one way or the other I just wondered if anyone knew anything definite, perhaps from inside information.

Indeed, they're essentially 'bluffing it out', hoping that things will go ahead, but knowing that they probably won't.
