Rejoice that Cash & Theo are going!

Enjoying a drop of red.
The good folk of Stone and Penkridge will, no doubt be inconsolable that the hard working Theo and hard expenses claiming Sir Bill will shortly no longer be their elected representatives in parliament.

However, in a classic example of 'be careful what you wish for', they will be ecstatic to learn that that outstanding parliamentarian of his generation and general all-round good egg Gavin Williamson has been chosen to represent them instead.

At least he should be familiar with the area. Always assuming, of course, that he ever visited Cannock @ the county before he lost his seat.

Just seen the map of the new stone constituency. Didn't realise that Walton on the hill and Milford are in it....

The current Stone constituency isn't any better, just the other way round, I'm in Stone, but Stafford is about half a mile up and down the road...

Where's the motivation for the new MP to be effective when it doesn't affect their constituency ??
But Sandon and Milford, just like Hammersmith, are also outside her constituency.
And Bill Cash never saw any need to live within the Stone constituency.
