Restaurant Suggestions.

My dad asked me to pick a restaurant for my birthday lunch/dinner in March. A bit early I know.
Any suggestions - within a 25 mile radius - for four adults and a 9 year old. None of us are fussy and would say we are adventurous eaters. Tried the Turkish and enjoyed it, Vivere is nice as is Ayo Gorkhali. Don’t eat out that much as prefer takeaways and being able to eat at our own table.

Does it have to be a restaurant or would you consider a pub that does properly cooked good food ?

Red Lion @ Bradley, Saracens Head @ Weston, Dog & Doublet @ Sandon, Holly Bush @ Salt, - while since I've been in some of them tho.

Thai Llana or the Streat in Stone are good.

Thawa Bridge or Ayo Gorkhali for Indian or Nepalese.

Zizzi is nice but can be a bit noisy at times.

Bird for good pub grub.

Bit of a halfway house between a bar and restaurant is perhaps The Oakley Arms in Brewood. Nice rural setting with plenty of large tables for an extend family, been a few times for a few birthday do's and the food has always been good.

As Proactive said The Fox near Newport is an excellent choice. It served as the venue for my daughters birthday meal for many years.

The Fox and The Oakley are the same chain. I prefer the Fox for being a bit less formal, but both are good. You've also got Staffordshire Grill in Brewood but they are no good at serving blue steak if that's your bag.
