    Hello all!

I am starting up a business selling clothing and soft furnishings of my own design, and I need a good reliable seamstress (as I am seriously crap at sewing and lack the time to improve) who can put together garments or items as and when I need them (and possibly help me re-create the prototypes).

The skills required are not advanced at all - none of the items are complicated, however the finishing needs to be of a high standard - seams/darts/zips etc..

If anyone is interested, or knows of someone who might be interested, please get in touch to discuss.

To give you an idea of the stuff I'm doing please see my website: http://www.victoriaboyle.co.uk/ - it looks naff now but hopefully it won't soon!

As you may notice the sewing quality is not great, which does not make the pictures look very appealing.

    Thank you!

    Vicky

For anyone experiencing déjà vu, don't worry, you're not going mad. I realised that the vb who signed-up over the weekend was actually an old-school Forumite, who has been here since the very beginning, but had forgotten her log-in details and changed her email address!

So, I deleted the new profile (and therefore the thread), and she is now back, rejuvenated as victoriab and with a new business to promote. :)

All the best, victoriab, and a hearty welcome back to Stafford Forum. Don't you go leaving us again! ;)

    Hi victoriab,

My better half and her sister have been involved in alterations/dressmaking for some time now and are always more than happy to take on work. Their work has been used for productions and personal clothing.

How would you like them to contact you?
