Enjoying a drop of red.
But I was meaning when they're not selling coffees and sandwiches, such as of an evening when you or I might want to be getting from the Barley Mow to the Clifford Arms.
Clifford Arms is fine but why you'd ever want to be at the Barley Mow is beyond me. You really need to set your sights a little higher...

There and back is a sensible distance for a walk and I had a decent pint there a few weeks ago.

I can walk the dog on the chase and then sit outside there for a beer without driving elsewhere. It’s walking distance from the in-laws. The food is fine (not special) and a cold pint of lager tastes just as good as elsewhere. By no means my favourite but serves Milford and that side of the Chase more than well.
