So what we all knew is confirmed...

You knows it
........that Mclaren is a tactical donkey! WTF are we doing playing an untried formation against a team who hasn't lost a competitive game on home soil for 12 years! Then to come out and say we were controlling the game was just unbelievable. I can't remember the last time i saw and england team play with such ineptitude and lack of... well anything! We didn't test their keeper until stoppage time and apart from one effort from rooney we didn't have any attacking chances.

As for the keeper, there is no point being 'top class' in the first half if all your gonna do in the second is get out of position for the first and completely miskick the second. If this sounds harsh, i'm sorry but we are talking international football here.

Not good enough!

4000th post? Whatever, I'm nonchalant..
hansen and shearer's analysis after the 'highlights' was spot on. 5-3-2 doesn't work and rooney and crouch were both running away from goal instead of towards it. it was by far the worst tactial game plan since the days of the turnip.

I actually thought of the turnip whilst watching a recording of the match late last night. Doesn't send out the right message if you ask me.

How long is McClaren's contract? I think the fraud will be lucky to get the opportunity to renew it.
