...I for one will be watching in the Prince of Wales as it's the closest pub to my house, friendly, cheap (ish), and has just had a load of new telly's installed (some fairly attractive bar staff too!). I know at least one forum member, admin for that matter, will be watching it in sif ifrica assumably whilst eating brin brid, but really just wondered where other people will be enjoying (or not) England's inevitable demise/victory.

cheers, b. x

A lot of pubs have decent sized screens now so there's a fair choice. Dont think we had casa for the last world cup but we did have chicago rock. Thats changed now, unless theres a re-opening very soon. I've watched quite a few games in the Litten Tree over the years so may go there or The Yard this time round.

They just put a projector in upstairs in the pie and ale, I was watching the start of WW3 on it earlier.

To be honest i reckon having a tv is a strong prerequisite of being able to watch football on a tv but it's more about the atmosphere when it comes to watching england and i just hope me and my mates all pull together to make it a memorable occasion! :)

The Rangers are having their new kit launch in conjunction with the World Cup. Buy a shirt and get free shorts during the competition. Being launched at the USA game night. All games being shown in club.

I'm not sure if you're confusing us with another forum, but I can assure you I have no interest in football and certainly won't be risking life and limb in "sith ifrica" just to watch a few chaps knock a ball about a field. ;)
