I've got the minutes from the meeting and have asked everyone who attended to email me. I'm going to email everyone back in one email with the minutes so then everyone has everyone else's email addresses. (waiting on gatehouse and shoes for their emails!) If anyone else would like a copy of the minutes (used in the broadest sense of the word) and/or to be added to the email list please PM me and I'll get it sorted.

There were a couple of ideas brought up during pie-eating after the meeting which I will attempt to include in the relevant sections of the minutes. Anyone with any ideas they want brought up at the next meeting - I'm thinking best thing will be to email/PM me and I'll make a list for the next meeting (since I'm guessing I'll end up doing notes again)

As an example, one or two people learned a lot about the various legalities surrounding home offices, from those who have been through the mill...

The whole point of these kinds of situations is that you are very unlikely to be the first person to experience whatever problem you currently have, and it is so much easier to resolve if you can spend a few minutes with someone who's been through it before.

It's much easier than re-inventing the wheel.

His Mum lives up the road - I'll get her to lean on him, or no pocket money.......

Edit:- His Mum's on holiday, but I've told his brother to make him do it - if not, he won't be able to sit down for a week when she comes back..

Thanks, I only wondered as their is a broad spectrum of businesses and while some may all be able to help another I wondered if some might be isolated as they are too diverse.

it's not just about being able to help with things that relate to our businesses. I'm sure we all have a wide range of things we know enough about to help each other. I have other qualifications as well as being able to sell clothes :)

You should come along to the next meeting, there is no signing up nor fee to pay and if you decide it's not for you or your business then there is no obligation to continue attending the meetings. We're still only finding out feet outselves, however one very important point which was agreed by all who attended the last meeting is were going to make the club as inclusive as possible.

Hiya.

Wednesday nights aren't the best for me, but could you please email me the last minutes at mail@dovedelight.co.uk so that I can get a fuller feel of what goes on please? Don't add me to the general list just yet, although if it looks too good to be missing then I might well have to adjust my weekly schedule ;)

Right an email has gone out to all those who requested (as far as I'm aware). Check your junk mail box if you don't receive it because I know for some reason (probably the format of the email address) some junk filters like to eat my company's emails (which isn't great!). Any problems with it let me know.

I was waiting on Derek's email but still not received it so if someone can get it I'll send out another email to everyone so we all have each other's emails

I've just had a look at the notes too - all very interesting! I also seem to have inadvertently fulfilled one of the suggestions...'For the next meeting it was agreed that all attendees would try and find at least one other local business to be represented at the next meeting.' - by getting nhtpromo on board!

Looking forward to tomorrow.
