In my day an MTB was a Motor Torpedo Boat and I haven't seen many of them on the Staffs & Worcester,

Used to be the odd frigate & destroyer on the Staffs & Worcester as I recall. There used to be photos of them on the wall of the Star in Stone.


















Actually it was a Royal Navy recruitment drive if I remember correctly, they had a couple of narrowboats with "Ikea" superstructure they could erect when the boats were moored, there might actually have been an RN submarine as well

I plan to test cannock chase trails this sunday.
I'll enjoy if someone want to join me ! As I haven't car, I think to take the train from Stafford to Rugeley and arrive at about midday. Like that, I hope to ride the both trails !

How was it? Can you only do weekends or can you get away mid-week?

Possibility i can do next Tuesday (16/05), and with a car at my disposal with a carrier for 3 bikes, if you're interested.

This will depend upon whether my back unf*cks itself between now and then.

I have found a non plus ultra bit of downhill fire road that you'd absolutely love.

A bit sketchy at speed, but massively enjoyable at whatever level.
