So, i rather unexpectedly have a car at my disposal tomorrow, which has put me in something of two minds - am tempted to drive up, not necessarily to Birches Valley but some way yonder, but obviously this is a little bit naughty.

Have been off the bike for quite a while so am not hugely cycle fit at the moment, saving a few km getting there might be nice.

Either way, you still in @citricsquid ?

Others welcome obvs.

woops, totally forgot about this. I'm not feeling too fit either and I have some work stuff to do tomorrow early afternoon, but should be able to get myself around the dog, I have a few hours to spare. What time are you thinking? Well, you're probably asleep by now: I'll return to the forum about 10am to see what plans are.

Possibilities for a Thursday pm quickie, or next Monday am/pm longie? Or Mon quickie, not too fussed?

As it happens, on account of reasons, i didn't have the car today anyway, then was unexpectedly detained am which rather put the kibosh on the rest of the day - thought about going out on me lonesome pm but thought better, or possibly worst, of it.

Thoughts for Thursday?

Disclaimer - am currently massively unfit, so propose no more than a pootle. Possibly a pootle timesed by the power of gnarr if circumstances warrant?

I haven't been out on my bike in, well, however long it has been since the last time I went out on the chase... September if my post in this thread is to be believed.

I've been working on my health, gaining weight, running sometimes, I'd probably be able to make it up cardiac hill now, I think I could do a pootle, I can't make it Tuesday though due to prior arrangements, and my bike probably needs to be looked at, I'll take it to Halfords this week sometime, or maybe Specialized for a change. Any week day starting next week, July 6th, I'm available. Sign me up!

I saw Wormella post about the St. Leonards Cycling Festival and was considering the 60k, although that might be a baptism of fire as I haven't ridden in so long.

I am uncharacteristically busy mostly for the foreseeable, but Mondays & Tuesdays are generally, with some exceptions, me-days.

Alas my unreliability continues, my bike is not back yet, I underestimated how long a full service would take. I hoped to hear today but nothing yet, so probably tomorrow or Wednesday now. I'll update when I know more.

Didn't do as planned on Tuesday due to unplanned Cat-astrophe (stupid cat), thinking of a brief foray tomorrow (Thur) pm?

1 pm onwards, two hours tops? F**k it, as much gnar as can be fit in? All of that sort of thing.

Anyone in ?

Sure, sounds like a plan! Should I arrive at your house for 1pm? I'll check the forum before setting off tomorrow, around 12, if there's an alternate place I should be I can adjust my course.
