Stafford Gatehouse Youth Theatre are performing two plays over the next two weeks. The first is "DeoxyriboNucleic Acid" By Dennis Kelly, and the production is quite special as it is part of the "National Theatre - Connections" whereby the show enters a national competition which could see the young actors performing in Manchester and London.

"If you're a teenager and you do something bad, really bad, what should you do? Tell your parents? Tell the police? Tell a teacher? No, you should do exactly what adults do; cover the whole thing up and hope no one finds out.

DeoxyriboNucleic Acid is about a group of teenagers who are brought together by the act of doing something bad. But when things begin to unravel their newfound sense of solidarity begins to crack."

Please Note: This production contains swearing and strong language.

The show's run starts tonight and goes until Friday in the MET Studio, downstairs in the Gatehouse Theatre. 19.30 start, one hour without interval. More Info

NEXT WEEK -The Devil in Drag by Dario Fo - upstairs in the Gatehouse Theatre More Info

If you are interested in seeing how talented Stafford's young actors really are then these shows offer the perfect opportunity to do so!

A quick update: the first night of DNA went really, really well. I cannot recommend this show enough! There are plenty of seats left, so just pop in to the box office before the show!
