Great turn out from the Stafford public again and an opportunity for town centre establishments to take extra trade.
Walking home, the queue on Doxey Road had thankfully waited patiently and an ambulance had to get through, as it looked like it went to Timberfields and seemed to depart with blues and twos, too. Hope the patient is ok.

No. We have a place next to the golf course that backs on to the squirrel reserve.

Yep, everyone was upselling to a pint though and lots of pizzas were being had, so speculate to accumulate and all that.

Long time away from the Forum but running the Half again this year (subject to the weather not cancelling it). End of the new route looks a bit of a mess with a switchback likely to cause problems?

Anyone else running it / thoughts on the course changes?

Running it for the first time, and no issues with the finish....

It's disappointing that the council aren't doing temporary holes filling on the route this year like they usually do. Makes the roads a little less 'holey' for a few weeks.

If you are running, be careful not to break an ankle in some of the caverns on the roads.

I need to get to the station for 09.00 on Sunday.

It's a shame they couldn't get the end to finish within the park, but I suppose they had to try to squeeze it in without the high street.

I ran through the park as park of the 10k last year and it was terrible. To be clear this wasn't the usual section by the river and under the bridge but a technical section by the bandstand....
