Happy New year to everyone :)

I'm after a favour of all you lovely people on here

As you may or may not be aware, after winning our appeal, Stafford Cricket and Hockey Club have had planning permission granted for a new Hockey Astroturf pitch to be built at Riverway.

We're now in the middle of a huge fundraising challenge as the project will likely cost in the region of £600,000!!!

We've been given an opportunity to be part of the TESCO Blue Token scheme until the end of February.

If you're not familiar with the scheme, when you shop at TESCO you will be offered a blue token at the checkout and be able to vote for your favourite project via voting boxes on the way out

At the end of the voting period, all three projects could receive funding, the amount of which will depend on how many votes are received.

Therefore can I ask that if you or any of your friends and family do a supermarket shop in Stafford TESCO in January and February, please could you drop your blue tokens in the Stafford Cricket and Hockey Club voting box on the way out.

Many thanks for your support

Spouting nonsense since the day I learned to talk
Put my two tokens into your section of the voting box yesterday.

I don’t understand why Stafford Borough Council have a section though.

I think it's still going so I've not heard yet how it's going
One of our fundraising committee and a club member made the arrangements, I don't have any details I'm afriad

Im currently involved in trying to raise money for the new Shed End at Stafford Rangers, as such I'm looking at every possible funding stream.
